This place is placed amazingly by the river and greenery forest area. That's probably the first thing anyone notices upon entering the restaurant. After that you'll realize the bar and tvs around the restaurant to be more sports bar related. Still the atmosphere is great. The service was really good as well as were serviced kindly as soon as we sat down. We recieved our food quick and were ready to eat by the river. The food was really good but maybe a little bit too much sauce on my chicken teriyaki sandwich. Still I would order it again. In the end I do recommend this place to get away from the city of anchorage without actually being away.
The burgers and sandwiches were delicious! I got a bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries, and my boyfriend got the BLT.
My favorite restaurant to eat at in Anchorage it's a wonderful place to eat because the bacon cheeseburger with the onion rings i love eating here because the food is amazing and the view is spectacular you can either sit inside or outside and if you're outside out on the back there is lovely water and it is beautiful! Or you can play pool or sit at one of the tables to watch the football game going on it's a really fun place to go to eat and hangout with friends!
Absolute gem. Service was fantastic. After a long flight with a toddler we stopped in for lunch. Our server got the kids order in early to keep him happy. We sat on the patio and watched the river. Food was quick. I had halibut fritters and clam chowder, both fantastic. Food was quick. Our server snagged a stuffed animal out of the claw machine for the kiddo, nice touch for a great experience!
This bar has been here for Generations. Will definitely come back again, it has good atmosphere, and the staff was pleasant. The food was good and so was the drinks. There has been additions to the building and they have done a wonderful job bringing in the outside from in. I try to make it here every time I'm back in Alaska. Place was clean and so were the restrooms. It is a must-see for your sports bar enthusiast. There are pool tables and ample room with TVs abundant.
We have a baby shower there and it was great! Food was timely and hot. Waitress was super!!
Great food and service wonderful atmosphere
Tried the Prime Melt today for lunch and I can safely say it was the best sandwich I've ever had!!! Super tender, flavorful prime rib chunks, mozzarella cheese, chipotle mayonnaise and sourdough bread. Incredible!! Highly recommend it for any occasion. Also love the homemade corn fritters!!
